Our Little Showoff!!!

Okay so I finally caught Trystan rolling over on video. I thought this rolling over thing was a fluke, but this is about the 12th time he has done it now. My little man is getting way to big to fast! Watch his face after he gets himself over, I think it surprises him every time he does it! We had a busy week with Dr. appointments and everything so I am thankful that there is absolutely nothing we have to do this week. I took Trystan for his echocardiogram on Thursday and everything looks great! They had found a hole is his heart (VSD) it was a small heart murmur, but they did an echo in the hospital and couldn't see anything (meaning it had closed before birth), so they had me make a follow up appointment for a month old. The pediatrician can't hear a murmur either. I have to take him back in June one last time (I hope)! He is perfectly healthy though, I personally think the repeats are just an excuse for the doctor to be able o bill the inurance yet again. We had a great weekend as well. My Grandparents, Aunt, Uncle and Cousin came down on Saturday to see Trystan. It was great to see them all. Then Mikie fixed us a delicious crab and steak dinner for Valentines. On Sunday we went over to Grammy and Grampy's so mikie and his dad could work on the car that they are rebuilding. Everyone came over to play with Trystan for the day. He was spoiled rotten and got held all day long, needless to say today he thinks mommy should hold him all the time even when he is sleeping ;) Thanks for the tummy advice Kourt and Jess!!! Both suggestions work for us!

How cute is this boy.... Seriously!

I can't believe my baby is a month old already!!!! Seriously where did the month go, seems like just yesterday we had him. We went to the pediatrician this morning for his one month check up. Everything went well, we got out of shots for one more month.... yay for mom and baby both. He is a healthy happy baby boy who enjoys his food immensly. Tyrstan weighs 8 pounds 15 ounces which is 2 pounds 4 ounces bigger than he was at birth. The Dr. said babies usually only gain about a pound the first month... so apparently our little one has a healthy appetite!!!! He is such a cutie and I still can't believe he is mine. He rolled over two more times on Friday morning, but has refused to do it since. This weekend was kind of a long one, Trystan has been really fussy and had an upset tummy all weekend... I hate that there's nothing I can really do for his tummy either. If anyone has any advice on dealing with upset tummies please share!!! Here are some pictures we took saturday.... 4 weeks and Rolling Over!!!

Trystan is 4 weeks old today and rolled over on Monday morning, Yes I said rolled over. We were playing on the floor and I had him on his tummy. I turned around for two seconds to grab my camera and when I turned back around my little man was laying quietly playing on his back. I'm sure it was just a fluke, he is way to young to be rolling over, but he has tried several times since and he gets pretty close! He is so strong and loves to lay on his tummy and lift his head up high to look around. I can't believe how fast this first month has gone by. He is getting to big way to fast. He also has decided that he likes his own bedroom and sleeps better in his crib in his bedroom than in the cradle in our room. However, I am still trying to force the craddle, I am not ready for him to be in his own room just yet!!! My mom was here for a week and it was so nice to just have her company. We were sad to see her go home. It really sucks that they live so far away, hopefully someday they will be closer. I still haven't been able to give Trystan a real bath, I don't think his cord is ever going to fall off!!!! As for this week I am on my own with the baby and it is going very well. I have the best baby ever! He is generally happy and content. He gets fussy about the time Mikie gets home from work every night, and he isn't really a fan of going to bed before 11 (if we are lucky) but once he goes to sleep he has been sleeping between 3.5 to 5 hours. I love the 5 hour stretch, but even at 3.5 hours it isn't to bad. He will eat and go right back to sleep. He is starting to smile more and makes tons of noises. He sounds like a dinosaur and does not hold still for two seconds when he is awake! He is filling out pretty good too. He now has little sausage fingers, rolls on his wrists, and round face and tummy, a nice double chin and rolls on his legs!!!! My little chunky monkey is eating very well obviously and gets really upset quickley when i don't get him fed as soon as he thinks it is necessary. He litterally starts throwing punches and is quite comical to watch!!! He gets that from his daddy, grandpa and great grandpa..... no patience at all!!!!!!
