High-lights of Our Busy Life!!!

My sweet boy is getting so big!! We have had a lot going on lately. The end of April Trystan and I went on a mini vacation to visit my family in Richfield. The day we left the weather was beautiful until we hit Cedar, then it started snowing. Between Bever and I-70 it was a blizzard and I could not see 200 feet in front of me. It was a little scary, but we made it all in one piece and Trystan did so good. I was a little worried how he would travel with just the two of us. He talked to me all the way from Cedar to Richfield. It was freezing the whole time we were there but Trystan had a blast playing with his Aunts. I enjoyed hanging out with my family and got some serious scrapbooking done while I was there... I am so behind. Trystan loves Nintendo DS, loved playing the piano and did not dig sleddingTrystan has Grandpa K wrapped around his little finger and all he had to do was point and Grandpa would take him outside. There is no where else this kid would rather be than outside playing. Grandpa let him play in his truck and jeep... We are still having a hard time convincing him that we don't go play in mom and dad's car and truck:)Grandma Sam got Trystan ready for bed one night while we were there. She is a little out of practice. The onsie got done up over his pants... so we called them his Super hero suite. LOL Trystan HATED sledding. It was really cold. The wind was blowing and it was snowing. All he wanted to do was go back to the car. He would point in the direction of the car and say go, go!My dad helped me turn Trystan's Car seat around so he could face forward before we left the house. Trystan Loves being able to see. He just chilled all the way home. I also discovered on the way home that I really need to start watching what I say as I am driving!!!! Trystan has become quite the little backseat driver and hollars at the other cars and tells them to go, go, goooooo;)
While we were gone daddy was here working his butt off both at work and at home. He and his dad ripped out our whole backyard. Our Big trees are gone, the rock the grass and patio. Trystan has had so much fun helping daddy in the back yard getting it ready to redo so Trystan can play outside!!!!Mikie and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary on May 8th. We went out to dinner and were going to go to a movie, but just before we left the house to take little man to Niccoles he spiked a fever of 101.7 It had only been two weeks since he ran a fever of 103+ for four days. So we went out for a fabulous dinner and went to pick up the baby. When we got back to Niccole's Trystan's fever was 103. We did high fevers for two more days. I think this time it was his freaking Molars he got three of them at the same time... poor baby. There was no other reason for the fever. The day after our Anniversary was Mother's day. I spent most of the day rockabying with trystan and timing motrin and Tylenol around the clock. We did go to Mikie's mom and dad's for a fabulous dinner and Trystan ran around with his ky-ky like a mad man, you'd never know his fever was as high as it was.The following week Niccole Graduated from Nursing School. I am so proud of her!!!! Nursing school is no easy task and she came through with flying colors being a full time employee, wife, mother, daughter and sister!!!! Trystan has become quite the Mommy's boy lately and walks around the house saying mama, mama, mama, especially when I am at work or not around. He loves going to gramy's and papa's on the days that I work and loves Auntie picking him up from Wyndee's most days...especially if she will give him her keys:)Our little man is suddenly so big, He is talking so much, and running full tilt, he undresses himself which is not always convinient, is trying to put on his own shoes and loves to help daddy and I around the house. He is starting to freak out when I put him to bed... I am a litte sad about that he has always gone to bed so well, but I am loving that he wants to snuggle a little more. He has learned to open all the doors at grammy's house time to baby proof the doors at home too! Because we have the same doorknobs, though at least for today he is not opening the doors at our house. Mikie and I are enjoying being parents more and more every day... If we could just win the lottery we would both became stay at home mom and dad!!!!
