Hello Hormonal, Goodbye Sanity!

So, so far this pregnancy thing has been a breeze! I mean sure I have had a few days of nausea and one day of vomitting, but considering how some woman can't keep anything down for the first three months I have been very lucky. The only other complaint that I have is I live in Vegas and it is 110 degrees outside and I feel like I am being roasted on the grill all the time! and I seriously swear I can't breathe, but other than that life has been good! Well apparently the hormones decided yesterday was a great day to go into full swing. I woke up a little irritable yesterday morning, but I figured it was just morning and I do that some times. Mikie went over to his dad's yesterday afternoon to help him with the car that he is rebuilding from scratch. I stayed home and did overdue thank you cards, read a book and looked for jobs! As the day went on I felt myself getting more and more irritable. I decided to apply for one of the jobs that I found and began filling out the online application. Now these applications tend to be quite lengthy and take a good amount of time to fill out. After working on it for an hour and a half I hit a wrong button and deleted the whole thing!! Oh the anger that flared inside. Mikie came home about that time (poor guy) thought I was pissed off at him! Quite the contrary, I could no longer control anything. I was just pissed off in general no reason for it. We sat on the couch Mikie asked what he did to make me so angry, I said I'm just grumpy it has nothing to do with you I swear at first I don't think he believed me! When he looked at me again he said are you going to cry? I said I don't know I might, then I started laughing hysterically until the tears started flowing, I quit laughing and just layed on the couch sobbing the worst part was I couldn't explain why! I felt like I was going insane. Poor Mikie just sat on the couch and didn't know what to do. He tried joking about calling 911- aka mom to see if she had any advice on what to do. That made me laugh again then I went right back to sobbing. This lasted for probably a good 45 min!!! After the roller coaster ride was over Mikie put his hand on my tummy and told the baby to quit making mommy crazy. What a day, lets hope I don't have too many like that I truly feel bad for anyone else who has to witness me like that!!!!

Bellino Bash

On Saturday night we had a huge party at Mike and Debi's house. The party was complete with amazing food, a live band and tons of friends and family! It was a celebration of many events. Mikie got his engineering stamp and is officially a professional engineer. Niccole turned 35 and was excepted to the nursing program which she starts this fall. I graduated from nursing school this spring and will be taking my board exams on July 1st. It was all a great excuse to have a party. Some of the dancing pictures are a little blurry, but kind of cute anyway. We are very blessed to have such amazing friends and a wonderful family!

Sheer Exhaustion from the many potty breaks of Pregnancy

So it has been a while since I posted anything so I guess it is time for an update. Lets start with the first question everyone asks me these days. I am feeling fabulous other than I am exhausted all the time and I live in the bathroom. I have only thrown up once and had two or three days of nausea, but other than that I can't complain. Two weeks ago I went to the doctor and had my first ultrasound. Everything looks great! I got to see the baby's heartbeat which was incredible. The baby was a mere 0.61 cm long and has a heart rate of almost 119 beats per minute. It hit me at that moment that I really was going to be a mommy, and I cried all the way home from the Doctor's office. I haven't had many cravings, but those of you who know me well know that I love chocolate and can eat it at any time during the day, this is the one thing that has not sounded good at all. Instead I crave chewy candy like starbursts, Sour pach kids and Suckers. I also prefer vinegar based dressings such as Italian dressing. I haven't been all that moody and luckily for Mikie when I am I take it out on the dogs before he gets home. Poor cinnamon may not survive! Mikie is finally finished surving out his jury sentance after a long miserable three weeks. Now it is back to work for him to play catch up!!!! We went to Kenny Chesney on Friday Night and had a blast, by far the best concert I have ever been too. I highly recommend going if you ever have the opportunity to go. Other than that there is not much new at our house. We are anxiously awaiting our hawaiian vacation and looking forward to partying the night away with friends and family this upcoming weekend.
