Everything but the Kitchen Sink...in pictures!

Before I get started with happenings of our lives, One of my friends shared this link on facebook about the opportunity to "Pay it Forward." The idea came from a mom in Idaho that is around my age that lost her little girl due to a tragic accident several months ago. Ashley and Patrick Sullengers little Preslee was only Three weeks older than my little man! So as you can imagine this story has hit very close to my heart. These parents are truely an inspiration to me! Their story reminds me even on our roughest days to enjoy every moment, for those moments are all too brief. She is collecting donations and supplies for baskets to give to Primary children's hospital PICU to support those families that are there day and night with their sick little ones! If you are interested check out her blog. Their journey and story is incredible!
We have had a very busy month! Fair warning... There are Tons of pictures!!!! They are all backwards...they start with the end of the month and work their way to the beginning. Trystan was so much fun trick-or-treating this year. We went with his cousin Kylie, Aunt Niccole, Brandon and Taylor. Trystan left his costume on the entire time, and ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. He was even saying tick teet by the end of the night followed by Thank you and bye!!! Such a sweet boy my three eyed monster is. I even dressed up as a zombie nurse with him! Here he is ready to go with or without us!!!!Kylie (zombie doctor) and Trystan before trick or treating.Trystan running full tilt down the street, Mikie and I had to carry the bucket, it got to heavy really fast!Mommy, Kylie and Trystan!
Taylor (the peacock) Mikie and Trystan! He couldn't wait to get that sucker. Towards the end of trick or treat he would set the pumpkin down and the side walk and start digging through it to see what goodies he had!
Daddy and the Monster!Mommy and the monster! Family PictureOur pumpkins! Sorry they are blury the camera does not like the strobe lights in them!

Trystan had no desire to touch the pumpkin guts!. Mikie opened up the top and Trystan said ewww stinky. Sooo Mikie and I had fun doing pumpkins and trystan watched a movie. While he was still interested.
We took Trystan to one of the pumpkin patches in town... They had lots of inflatable slides and a bounce house, but Trystan would not go by himself and they wouldn't let mikie or I go in with him. Poor kid wanted to play on the big blow up slides but he wasn't quite big enough. Maybe next year. We got some cute pictures though.
They had a little petting zoo at the pumpkin patch and Trystan LOVED it. I love the expression on his face in this one!
Daddy and Trystan

Mike and his dad had deer tags so towards the middle of the month they went to northern nevada to go hunting, I took time off work, loaded Trystan and the dogs up in the car and headed to Utah!!! We had a blast. We stayed at my dad's for four days and played with the girls, papa, and grandma. The girls are growing up so fast, and Trystan loves his Aunts. The days were long for him because the girls had school. He would go around the house calling for them all day. He had fun riding the four wheeler with papa, we took him up the mountain and got some sweet pictures in the fall leaves, played at the park, and relaxed. This picture is of my youngest sister Gracie... gorgeous girls if I do say so myself.
We also took the kids to the pumpkin patch in Utah and went on a "hayride" Trystan was not to sure of playing in the corn fields!!! He had a death grip on papa's finger.

Love the expression on Trystan's face in this one too!

I got my hair cut while we were in Utah to!!! I chopped it all off. 10.5 inches of my hair got donated to locks of love. I have only had my hair cut 2 times in the last 2 1/2 years. It was long overdue. Even after cutting that much off it is still long enough to put in a ponytail. I love it, and I swear I lost 5 pounds!Trystan loved playing in the leaves, these were taken in Monroe canyon just outside of Richfield UT. I can't believe how pink and red the leaves were.
Love this one on the rocks!
Growing up so fast.

Me and my little Man!
Trystan loves to play peek-a-boo in our closet! He always hides behind mikie's clothes.
On one of my days off the weather was beautiful and was starting to feel like fall. A perfect day to go on an outdoor adventure with my little man. I took him out to the valley of fire to climb on the red rocks and to go exploring... It took him a minute to warm up, but he had a blast. He layed down in the rocks at one of the picnic areas.
Stuck his head through some of the holes that had worn right through the rocks.
Tried to escape a picture with mommy
Climbed up a rock all by himself

Chased Lizards. (He is clapping his hands in this one saying mere lizard, mere).

And yes, he is kissing the dog and the owner on the keep your dog on a leash sign! LOL. So gross!
And Finally, We have a backyard again. Trystan loves it, and I love being able to open the back door while I am cleaning up the kitchen to let him go play!!!!! He thought rides in the wheelbarrow with papa were fabulous! He will even eat at the little coffee table out back, sitting down!!! It is fantastic.
He likes to sit on the love seat and watch the airplanes fly by too.
And have a patio to drive his trucks on.
These are my Turtles haning on my block wall.

Grass to run and play on, A sandbox to use our imaginations, a slide or a ramp for trucks, a patio to draw on with chalk and a safe clean outside area to enjoy as a family and watch our little one grow!!!!
Trystan is talking so much, and he is not afraid of people! We have to say hi and bye to everyone at the store when we go. He is such a boy and is fanscianted with bugs. He tries to pick them up and carry them around! He loves to play in the car and truck. He has learned to use Please to his benefit, he give kisses and the cheek, loves it when mom and dad are both home, loves airplanes, cars, trucks, fruit, cheese, and his family. His papas are his favorites! He hates having his hair washed and combed. He loves to shower until you try and wash him, He is fascinated with poop as well, and LOVES the book everyone poops! He loves being read too, and bedtime has become quite the process of read every book I have, I need milk, Water, binkies, blanket, my movie, your bed...LOL which he never gets except to snuggle and watch a movie, but no bed in our bed. Our adventures just keep getting sweeter, I am so grateful for this little boy and the opporturnity I have to be his mommy!

Where have the last 2 months gone!!!

It has been forever since I have posted anything. These pictures are totally out of order, but I am to lazy to mess with blogger to put them in order. Six months ago we tore our back yard completely out, for six months we have had a house full of dirt, for six months we have been slowly putting our yard back together in between hectic work schedules! Trystan has had a blast with the dirt and the mud. Last weekend we got the curbing put in and Trystan helped daddy fix the sprinklers. Did you know that if you dig deep enough you find water in the ground:) Trystan filled in the holes faster than daddy could do what he needed to so I snapped some cute pictures then we went in to watch Nemo! For Labor Day we went to Kanosh, Utah. My grandparents live there, but have been on a mission in Wyoming since April. The weeds had taken over the horse corals and the garden as well as around the shop. I was excited to escape from the heat...that didn't happen it was in the 90's the whole time we were there. Everyone worked really hard and the weeds are gone, I entertained the monkey! We rode 4-wheelers, played on the mini excavator, and of coarse played in the water. We went to the park and played on the swings, and Mikie and Trystan almost fell head first off the slide. Mikie injured his shoulder catching them! It was great to see the family and Trystan had his little Aunties trained to do exactly what he wanted to do when he wanted to do it. All he had to do was point!
The Girls strike a pose
Trystan loved being outside the whole time we were in Kanosh as soon as he would wake up and pop his head over the side of the playpen he would start saying side, side, It was a real challenge to get the kid dressed to get out there.

He is starting to like the swings more and more all the time
Mini excavator!!! Beep, beep! (The horn was really annoying and Trystan loved to honk it over and over and over again)Cute Boy!
Lovin the gogogical (motorcycle, or popcicle the two sound the same)
Water!!!!

Last weekend we bought Trystan a Sandbox for the backyard. He loves it!!!! He throws it ontop of my head where it does not like to wash out of my long thick curly hair! He eats it, makes race tracks, and spends lots of time in it. I now realize that even when my yard is finished I am never going to have sand in the house where the dirt used to be!!! (but he is so much fun to watch and play with in the sand)
After playing hard in the sand we had to take a break for popcicles!

This weekend we finished our back yard!!! (Pictures of that to come). but Trystan had a blast riding in the wheelbarrow with papa!!!

Last but not least we learned a valuble lesson last month. Plastic Microphones catch on fire in the broiler! Mikie turned the oven on to back rolls and our broiler is underneath the oven. Trystan had placed his microphone in the broiler and neither one of us knew. Mikie could smell something burning and opened the broiler drawer to flames and ash that blew all over my kitchen! thank goodness nothing else was damaged!!
