Family fun!

My mom and Annie came to town the tuesday before Christmas! We were so excited to get to spend a few days with them and enjoy Christmas with them this year! Trystan had a blast with them!

Baby #2!!!

It's been a rocky road with this one so I have not said anything, but I am so excited to finally announce that baby #2 will be joining us in June! Let's hope the rest of this pregnancy goes by smoothly!

Happy Halloween and Ghost meets Bedrail!!!

A few Halloween pictures!! Trystan spend almost the entire day dressed as optimus prime! He was hilarious trick or treating and feels it should be a daily event. He walked up to one house rang the door bell and started pounding on the door saying trick or treat... open the door:0
He refused to touch pumpkin guts, and I was not much of a fan this year myself:) especially since the big one was rotting before we cut into it!
I did carve the face on Trystan's pumpkin! Kind of silly just like him!
Then we let the moster work who did a two sided pumpkin scary face and mummy.

We had cousins come play last month and they had a blast! These kids miss one anther!

Trystan and Brynlyn had a great time sword fighting:)

Then we had the ghost and bedrail inscident. Trystan was in his room playing ghost with a blanket over his head, tripped over a stuffed monkey and met his bedrail with his eye! After screaming for an hour, cleaning up lots of blood and having grandma come look to see if we needed stitches Trystan fell asleep on my lap with a cold was rag on his head. He remained there the rest of the night. I woke him up every so often to check his eyes we were good there no concussion, but I was not aloud to move... AT ALL. If I shifted my weight he freaked out, If mikie tried to touch him he told him to go away. I asked him to sit up at dinner time so I could eat and he told me he couldn't, I asked him to hold the wash rag to his own head, he told me his arms were broken and followed that with and so are my legs...LOL!!! So for about 8 hours I had a completely helpless injured little boy that only wanted mommy!
His eye healed really well and turned some really pretty colors over the course of a couple of weeks! We have not played ghost since.

We are all still breathing!

Wow!!! It reall has been forever since I have updated. Kind of hard when a two year old is refusing naps as well as sleeping at night! Apparently we have monsters and I have yet to find the cure! I have tried Monster spray, leaving lights on, multiple night lights, CD's, a sound machine, and good dream cream (aka lotion). Also have cut out a handful of things he was watching. Nothing helps!!!! I am happy to report that we are only getting up about twice a night now instead of every hour on the hour! but if anyone else has any other brilliant suggestions... I am all ears! In the mean time on my days off we have been spending some time at a place called Pump It Up. It is a place with two arena's full of bounce houses and slides!!! Trystan loves it! and most of the time we have both arena's to ourselves!! Goober refused to open his eyes!
This one is an obstacle coarse to the slides!

My little monkey the climber has no trouble climbing to the top of the slides all by himself. This one actually is a double slide and has two of these ladders. We usually race to the top and race to the bottom.

Cute Boy!

Climbing up to the top of the big slide.

Sliding down.

The only bad thing about these slides is they can cause some burns. I also learned that jeans with metal buttons on the back pockets cause friction and make the rear end a little toasty...literally.

Inside the bounce house

Trying to climb with challenge wall. the wall is really slick with socks on.

Going into the obstacle coarse.

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch. It was HOT!!! we all got sunburnt, but Trystan would like to go back every day. He went down the big blow up slides (Pump it up is still so much better, and much Cheaper). He had fun climbing on the pumpkins...

And dropping the pumpkins!

He even picked out his own baby pumpkin to carve this year. He has not been too interested the last two years, so we'll see how this one goes. He and daddy rode on the tea cups and had a blast! Then he decided that he wanted to jump and fly high! I was amazed at how little the kids were that were doing this. Mikie and I were a little bit hesitant to let Trystan try just because we thought they would get him up in the air and then he would freak out and let go, but Trystan was determined. So here's my little monkey getting all harnessed up!

Up, up, up he goes holding on just like the guy told him too!

Then the kid grabbed his waste pulled him down and let him go!!!! He loved every second of it and never let go! Its hard to see his face in these but he was laughing and smiling the entire time.

Sorry it has been so long again! We are just busy, busy, busy! I promise to update again shortly with all of our Halloween festivities! I should have some adorable pictures of the cutest Optimus Prime you have ever seen next week. The only thing that disappointed him is that he can't reall turn into a truck :) so stay tuned.

No More Binky!

Future Doctor??? Maybe! Trystan loves to play with my stethascope. I never let him cause I never know even though I clean it routinely, what is growing on it. However, somebody stole my stethescope at work a few weeks ago I had to buy a new one;) Trystan loves to listen to his heart beat and his belly talk. Then he has to listen to mine and daddy's as well. He has been sick for two weeks off and on. two weeks ago today he threw up all night long then was fine for three days then puked all over again last tuesday, and then complained off and on for the last week that his belly hurt. Mikie's mom and dad watched him last weekend and Mikie and I had a mini staycation. We stayed at the Redrock for two nights, went to eat at our favorite places and went shopping and actually got to look at stuff:) it was fabulous! Trystan still wasn't feeling fabulous and was afraid he was going to throw up, so grandma wrapped him in a towel just in case! A week later and he is all better he still won't sleep with a blanket or go anywhere without the towel. He didn't want to ride in the truck cause he had puked in it and he still has issues laying in his bed as he puked there too! I hope this passes soon. He did finally start eating again yesterday:)
The Binky Fairy came yesterday and took away the Binky! Mikie and his dad are hunting and I have 8 days off from work so it was time. I have been telling Trystan for about a month that the binky fairy was going to show up and take his binki's to the new babies that needed them. So yesterday the Binky Fairy dropped off this special monkey for snuggles at nap and bedtime for my big boy and took the binky's away! I am so proud of him. We have only had two meltdowns for the binki's and they have only lasted about three minutes! He loves his monkey and tells me that his binki's are with the new babies now. The Monkey is sitting on top of the towel we can't go anywhere without.
Trystan and his new bestest buddy!
This kid has faked sick to try and get out of soccer and he is only 2
He wants to go to school and ride the school bus
He begs me not to go to work some days
He is such a Mommy's boy when he does not feel well
He calls me babes
We still go to the GI specialist...grrrrr!
Every time we go to the store he asks for toys. When we say that is two big he replies maybe christmas... His christmas list is rather long already.... and he doesn't forget anything.
He reminds me daily that Santa is busy making toys for him.
He is dressing himself and getting pretty good at it.
He loves to help in the kitchen
He swims underwater like a fish
He still refuses to take his own shirt off. He gets frustrated in 0.2 seconds attempting to get one arm out of the sleeve so he can get the rest of it off
At soccer class he picks up the cones and puts them on his hands and does a three sixty making shooting noises...yes it is embarrassing as my 2 year old is the only one that turns soccer cones into guns.
He gets mad at Mikie and I playing trains or spider man with him because we don't play right and he has to show us how!

Summer Camping Trip!

This past weekend we went camping with the Bellino side of the family up by Mount wheeler in Northern Nevada. We had not been camping for several years and it was Trystan's first camping trip. Our Niece Kylie came and spent the night at our house the night before we left and helped keep Trystan entertained while Mikie and I packed. They mad hats out of Trystan's shorts!
We went on a couple of hike's. trystan had the best seat in the house and would yell go, go, go every time we stopped for a break. Mikie and Papa took turns packing him on our verticle climb for the first hike of the trip.
Then halfway up Trystan decided he was done going up and headed down on his own. This kid knows what he wants, and has a great since of direction.
Kylie stopped to Pose for a picture.
We also spent lots of time playing in the tent. I was so excited Trystan's pack-n-play fit in the tent! He slept awesome even through rain and thunder. Sorry this picture is blurry but I love it anyway. This is his cheese face, and he loved his head lamp.
Me, Kylie and Trystan.
We had a great time playing in the creek as well. The water was freezing and made mikie and I's feet numb... it didn't seem to phase trystan though. I was a little nervous when we got there because the water was moving so quickly. Papa and Trystan had a talk about not going to the water without mommy, daddy, grandma, Auntie cole or uncle richard, because if he fell in we would never see Trystan again!!! It stuck Trystan was really good about the water!

Family photo. My camera was on a weird setting so Trystan and I have ghost faces :(
Daddy's feet were frozen so Mommy got a turn in the water with the monkey!
Trystan was not into posing for photos of the grandkids for grandma, and getting them to all look at the camera is a near impossible feat.
This is up at the alpine lakes as you head up to mount wheeler. This water was not moving so Trystan walked right on in with no fear. He walked more of this hike as well as created his own little detour. This one is not so much a fan of the trails.
Another attempt at a grandkids photo;p
Then there was sledding on ponchos in July! This is of mikie going from the top of the snowbank.
Trystan loved it and just kicked back and drank water from mikie's pack.

I wish these were on video. My in-laws decided to go down together and spun out of control.

My father-in-law stole the poncho, My mother-in-law ended up with her hind end rather cold and wet...we all had a great laugh!

A scenic look at mount wheeler and lake Theresa
What would a hike be without a walking stick! We had a great time and Trystan did Sooooo well. He is asking everyday when we can go again!
