UpDaTeS!!!!

Wow! It has been forever since I posted anything!!!! So sorry. We have been busy and sleep deprivation doesn't help a whole bunch. I few weeks ago Trystan and I met my cousin Wyndee and her girls at little pastry chefs to decorate valentine cookies!!! We had a blast and trystan made a Huge mess! I think he decorated more of himself! Before we did cookies we made our own little pizzas for lunch.

I let trystan play with playdough the other day for the first time! He wasn't too sure bout it! I had a hard time getting him to touch it at all. Then of course when he did all he wanted to do was eat it! Apparently he was not impressed with the taste either. I made a ball out of it and he threw it expecting it to bounce and then we made noses out of it! It was a fun 10 minutes and then he was done

Mikie and his dad spent last weekend getting rid of our sliding glass door and putting in French doors! I love them! I hated the sliding glass door.... no more squeaking, its FaBuLoUs!!!! The still need to be painted and they have the blinds inbetween the glass Love it!
I worked my last Graveyard shift on Tuesday night!!!!! I start on Day shift Monday and am SOOOO excited. Terrified a little, but so ready for a normal SLEEP pattern! Wish me luck!!! Here are a few more pictures of Trystan since thats all you guys get on here for anyway! He is getting so big, and growing up... I was sick last monday and started throwing up, he stood over my shoulder in the bathroom pointing at the vomit in the toilet saying ewww mommy, ewww then patted my shoulder and handed me some tissue, He is starting to help us clean up his stuff, and then claps for himself and says yay anytime he puts a toy in a basket, turns off the light, and closes a door. He says mom a lot more now and I love it! He will go throw things away if we ask him too as well!!!! His vocabulary consists of Mom, Dada, bum (ball), ah ah (off), Up, Go, NO, baaoon (balloon) Tanky (thank you). He understands high five and loves to give those out, we are working on not hitting mommy! He knows where his nose is and will point to it when you ask, He thinks his belly is his rib cage and points to that! And boy can we ever throw a temper tantrum, but he is such a sweet boy and has it down that when he is in trouble all he has to do is grab my leg hug it, kiss it and smile at me!!!!! This first picture is the devil smile, the second one is blurry because he hit me with the fourwheeler and I fell backwards just as I snapped the picture, the look on his face is the gottcha mom look!!!!

30!!!!!!

Last Tuesday Mikie celebrated his 30th birthday. Grammy watched the little one and I took mikie out to dinner. We spent the weekend hanging out as a family and had birthday dinner at his mom and dad's on Sunday!!!! Happy Birthday Baby. We love you

A Perfect Day...

Last Friday was absolutely gorgeous, no wind, 62 degrees kind of perfect. I had the weekend off and Mikie was home the whole weekend as well so Friday afternoon we decided to have a picnic at the park! We had a blast playing on the slides and kicking around the soccer ball. Trystan loved every minute of being outside. He loves the outdoors and takes off like he is free and has no boundries. I love it!!!! He has no fear and could care less if anyone was following him. I love that he is so active and loves to explore the world around him. He is so inquisitive and learning so much everyday. He loves to be around other kids as well, he gets so excited and will run up to the other kids and start jabbering away. I hope he NEVER loses that assertiveness. I think mikie and I enjoyed playing as much as he did. Here are a few fun pictures.

This kid is hilarious, one of his favorite toys is the remotes for the wii. He was carrying it around in his mouth shaking his head like a dog.

The cowboy boots... These were mikie's boots when he was little. They sit on a shelf in Trystans room, he spoted them the other day and had to have them, however his little foot is to fat to get them all the way on so he couldn't walk in them to well. It made him mad, but he looked so cute. There is a picture of Mikie in his PJs just like this one with the boots on. Gotta love the expression too!!!

Birthday festivities.

On Saturday we had a party for Trystan. My dad and Sam were able to come down from Utah, My brother came to hang out, and Mikie's family was all here too! We missed our Texas family though!!! We had a great time. Mikie and I fixed a mexican feast ad decorated the house all up! Trystan loved having everyone's undivided attention! He destroyed his cake exactly like I hoped he would. Had a blast with his cousins and Aunts, and had a pretty good belly ache all night long. Our house has been taken over by toys! But Trystan is having so much fun. He is just a little spoiled. Still can't believe my baby is one!!!!! Happy birthday kiddo we love you!

The little Monkey turns 1!!!!!

I can't believe it has been a year ago that this little Monkey came into our lives! He is so full of energy and such a sweet boy with the coolest personality... as well as a slight temper (okay it maybe more than a slight one.) He keeps me going and wears me out completely but I am so grateful to be his mommy!!!! I love you Trystan, you are the best part of daddy and I's lives. Happy Birthday little monkey!!!!!!!!

We went to my dad's house the weekend before christmas for my dad's birthday and an early christmas with them. We had a lot of fun, trystan loved playing with his aunts!!!! Uncle Kaysen and Daniella came up too! Trystan loves his uncle!

My Dad, Sam, and the girls got Trystan the bounce and spin pony. His poor little legs are not long enough to get it bouncing, but he loves to sit on it and rock. He also loves to control the peice that hooks it up to the TV
