4 weeks and Rolling Over!!!

Trystan is 4 weeks old today and rolled over on Monday morning, Yes I said rolled over. We were playing on the floor and I had him on his tummy. I turned around for two seconds to grab my camera and when I turned back around my little man was laying quietly playing on his back. I'm sure it was just a fluke, he is way to young to be rolling over, but he has tried several times since and he gets pretty close! He is so strong and loves to lay on his tummy and lift his head up high to look around. I can't believe how fast this first month has gone by. He is getting to big way to fast. He also has decided that he likes his own bedroom and sleeps better in his crib in his bedroom than in the cradle in our room. However, I am still trying to force the craddle, I am not ready for him to be in his own room just yet!!! My mom was here for a week and it was so nice to just have her company. We were sad to see her go home. It really sucks that they live so far away, hopefully someday they will be closer. I still haven't been able to give Trystan a real bath, I don't think his cord is ever going to fall off!!!! As for this week I am on my own with the baby and it is going very well. I have the best baby ever! He is generally happy and content. He gets fussy about the time Mikie gets home from work every night, and he isn't really a fan of going to bed before 11 (if we are lucky) but once he goes to sleep he has been sleeping between 3.5 to 5 hours. I love the 5 hour stretch, but even at 3.5 hours it isn't to bad. He will eat and go right back to sleep. He is starting to smile more and makes tons of noises. He sounds like a dinosaur and does not hold still for two seconds when he is awake! He is filling out pretty good too. He now has little sausage fingers, rolls on his wrists, and round face and tummy, a nice double chin and rolls on his legs!!!! My little chunky monkey is eating very well obviously and gets really upset quickley when i don't get him fed as soon as he thinks it is necessary. He litterally starts throwing punches and is quite comical to watch!!! He gets that from his daddy, grandpa and great grandpa..... no patience at all!!!!!!

Three Weeks Old Already

Another week has flown by! We had a couple of rough days after our very tramatizing day last Monday, but I am happy to report that I have my happy baby back! On the down side Mikie had to return to work on Monday after being home with us since Trystan was born, but Grandma Jo is here to hang out with us. I feel great and keep getting in trouble for "over doing it" My mom even told on me to my husband!!!! Here is my little Camo man's Three week picture and one of me and Trystan! Tramatized Trystan!

I can't believe my little man is two weeks old already! We have had a really tramatizing week this week and its only Tuesday! Yesterday Trystan went to the pediatrician for his circ procedure! Mommy cried, Trystan screamed and I think Daddy even got a little teary! I had never seen this done before and let me tell you I don't care if I ever see it again! He was a trooper but screamed all the way through it, all the way home, and for about 20 minutes once we got him home. Then he passed out for hours. Mikie and I held him all day yesterday. We felt so bad, poor little guy. Then today we took him to get his second PKU test done. It wasn't as bad, Trystan screamed but nothing like yesterday. It just sucks because that test doesn't have to be painful at all, I know I've done a few of them myself and if I do say so myself I am great at it, my babies usually slept through it! The worst part about the whole trip was that this new mommy didn't put a change of clothes in the diaper bag and of coarse as soon as we got to the place Trystan projectile spit up the entire content of his lunch, all over him, the blanket and the car seat! Poor kid just had to hang out in nasty clothes until I could get home to change him!!!! I will never do that again, no matter how fast a trip it is going to be. Introducing Trystan Michael

He is finally here and we are so excited! Trystan was born January 07 at 7:45 am by C-section! He weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and is 18 inches long. A little peanut compared to what we thought he would be!! Both of us are doing well. I am still a little sore, but not horrible, and get in trouble for trying to do to much. Trystan is a great baby too! The only time he gets really pissed off is when he is hungry and when we change his diaper! Mommy and Daddy have been pooped on and peed on numerous times, we will get the hang of it eventually! Here are a few pictures of the little Monkey! We have had some fun visitors and thanks to our wonderful family for everything!!!!

Trystan's Debut

Just a quick note we will be having a c-section tomorrow morning at 7:30. I will try to get pictures of him on here as soon as we get home, but in the mean time my cousin Wyndee said she would post a couple on her blog so click on the link that says Family Fun- its off to the left side of the screen under my blog list. I'm sure within a day or so she will have at least one on there!!

Light at the End of the Tunnel!!!!!

I am beginning to feel like I am going to be pregnant forever!!!! This kid is perfectly content right where he is at! As for me I feel like I have been hit by a bus. According to the doctor that is perfectly normal at this stage in the game! At my appointment this morning my blood pressure was a little up, but not as up as it has been this weekend. My feet are pretty swollen and my hands are beginning to swell. The doctor was/is afraid preeclampsia is starting to set in so he ran some labs. If those came back abnormal we were going to have a baby tonight, but they came back totally normal so I go back tomorrow for an ultrasound to see how big this little monkey has gotten! 5 weeks ago he was weighing in at 5 lbs 14 oz and gaining weight at a rate of about 1/2 a pound a week. If this pattern has continued I am guestimating that he will be somewhere close to 8 pound 6 ounces tomorrow! I will then see my doctor after the ultrasound tomorrow and make a decision on wether or not we are going to induce me or do a C-section hopefully some time this week. The Doc is beginning to think that we may have him via c-section because he seems a little on the large size for his tiny little mommy. Trystan has not dropped down into the pelvis yet which is making the doctor and I both think that he is to big to come out that direction. When he measured my stomach today I am measuring at 41cm which is three weeks ahead of where I should be (as a general rule you measure 1 cm for every week you are pregnant and I am 38 weeks this week) this is another sign that he just may be too big for me. However final plans will be made after the ultrasound tomorrow. I was kind of hoping for abnormal labs today,just so we could have a baby tonight, but I am grateful that they looked good. I will keep everyone posted and hopefully we will have a baby this week!

This cradle was made by Trystan's Texas Grandpa (my stepdad). It turned out beautiful! and goes perfect in our room for the first little bit! Thank you so much Mike!!!! We love it, I can't wait to get the little man in it!!!!

Maternity Photos

Mikie and I had these pictures taken several weeks ago! I believe I was about 30 weeks prego at the time! We had a family friend take them and she did a beautiful job~ I loved them and was very pleased with the way they turned out!!!! Thank you so much Erin!! I haven't been able to post them since they were part of my parents Christmas Gift but now that Christmas is over I can post them for everyone to enjoy! I will cherish these pictures always. I am getting so excited to meet may little man~Any day now buddy. Mommy and Daddy love you so much and can't wait to hold you in our arms!!!!!
