So it is time for a much needed update. I am officially a graduate nurse!!!!! Graduation went really well. Alot of family came to celebrate the occassion. It was great to see everyone. Thanks to all that came to share the occassion with us! I finished my preceptorship in the NICU and loved every minute of it. I have decided that is definantly where I want to work! I discovered on May 10th that we had some other big exciting news. We are expecting our first baby the begining of next year! The official due date is January 17, 2009. We are so excited! Mikie was at work when I found out so to tell him I went to Babies R Us and picked up a couple of baby out fits and made him an invitation that said: It's a birthday celebration. You are invited to attend the birth of your first child on January 21st, 2009 at summerlin hospital. (This is the due date I estimated, I was not off to far). Then I wrapped it all up for him to open when he got home! The response was priceless!
The news came just two days after our 4th anniversary! We spent the night at Mandalay Bay here in town went out for a fabulous dinner and enjoyed everyminute of our mini vacation. It was hard to come back to reality. Its okay though we will be taking a much needed vacation in July, its off to Hawaii for a whole week, just the two of us. Happy Graduation to me from my wonderful husband (I know I am totally spoiled). But before we go there I am hoping to take my board exam. So its back to the books for a few more weeks. Wish me luck I am going to need it!
